Sue Grundy is a Research Fellow on the project. Her work involves conducting and managing the research in Edinburgh (quantitative and qualitative) and Manchester (quantitative only). She also assists Professor Jamieson in co-ordinating the overall project. Her own research interests and background have strong links to many aspects of the project: youth, social and political action, leisure and lifestyle, environmental issues, families, childhood(s), significant life events, travel and mobility, qualitative methodologies.

She has studied at the Universities of Edinburgh, Leicester, California, and Stirling and has worked as a research associate at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
