I am currently completing fieldwork in the Scottish Highlands and Islands investigating the relationship between people, place, community and marine energy. I am seeking to understand the dynamics of potential marine energy host communities, in order to determine how these projects might affect the community, how people might respond to these energy projects and how communities should be engaged in project planning.
I also co-organised Future Connections 2015 a cross-disciplinary conference for sustainability researchers. http://futureconnectionssco.wix.com/futureconnections
